Muay Thai Kickboxing Instructor
Michael Patrone became involved in martial arts as a child beginning with the quintessential Taekwondo classes. His interest in combative sports became serious in 2007 and Michael has trained continuously for 5+ years in several disciplines, most notably: Freestyle Kickboxing, Boxing and Krav Maga. Coupled with his experience as a personal trainer, Michael utilizes a challenging, multi-dimensional approach to martial arts instruction.
Some of Michael’s significant achievements include winning 2008 Fight of the Year as well as currently holding & successfully defending two Kickboxing titles in two separate weight classes. He is the fastest student in school history to earn rank as a 1st Degree Black Belt in Freestyle Kickboxing. In addition to training Muay Thai in Thailand, Michael has learned from, among others, Dmitriy Salita, Bill Wallace and Tom Patire.
Michael holds a double Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Rutgers University. He co-runs Hammer Out Animal Cruelty, is a health & fitness enthusiast, ran multiple Tough Mudders, and is looking to pursue Kru certification.
